Ayala Asherov, Serenade for Solo Violin.

The Texas Jewish Arts Association led by violinist Sarah Price invited me to write something for the community during the first lockdown due to the Covid - 19 Pandemic. The piece was an attempt of mine, to reflect the feelings of unrest one has during quarantine and the reminiscing of better times, times of great freedom and closeness. Luckily the piece was chosen by Israeli violinist Tali Goldberg to be recorded with the support of the Israeli Composers' League just before the end of 2020 to begin a new year with hope rather than restlessness. I am thankful for all this wonderful support and trust in my solo voice during these hard times.
