collaboration with foreign ensembles, composers and composer-unions

This year, we are exited to establish a strong connection with foreign ensembles, composers and composer unions. We can thus share and perform our music abroad. Our main effort was creating collaboration with the Composers' association of Serbia, supported partially by the ISCM. In this project, each Composers' Association will host an ensemble from the opposite country, performing selected pieces from both countries.

In October, Meitar ensemble will perform in the festival "25 International Review of Composers" at Belgrade, Serbia and will play works by Ljubica Marić, Aleksandar Obradović, Vladan Radovanović (Serbia) and Ruben Seroussi, Ofer Pelz, Menachem Zur (Israel).

Our second concert with the Israel-Serbia collaboration will take place in Tel-Aviv. "The Construction Site Ensemble for New Music", led by pianist Neda Hofman, will perform works by Ljubica Marić, Ivana Stefanović, Srđan Hofman, Svetlana Savić, (Serbia) and Joseph Bardanashvilli, Sergiu Natra, Amos Elkana (Israel).
